CM endorsee wins Rookie of the Year AGAIN
In 2008, Militia man Tuf Cooper took the world of professional rodeo by storm as the tie-down roping Rookie of the Year in the PRCA. This year, we've done it again.
Twenty-year-old Shane Hanchey of Sulphur, La., will be in Las Vegas this December accepting his cash and prizes as the 2009 PRCA Tie-Down Roping Rookie of the Year. The Cowboy Militia endorsee raked in $41,480 over the regular season roping and tying calves.
A former Louisiana state high school champion, Hanchey is also a former champ of the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo and recently won the Marana (Ariz.) Invitational Match Roping. Watch his winning run on YouTube at www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oKcodzbQA0.
